Things you are likely to need on the day

 

When running an RE BarCamp, it’s important to make sure you have ways for people to communicate their ideas, and items that let people know where your event is. Here is a short, non-exhaustive list of things you’ll want to have on hand.

 

• Event banners
• White boards and white board markers
• Butcher’s paper and markers
• Name tags for attendees
• Spare name tags for last minute additions
• Attendee list
• Note pads and pens
• Sponsor material
• Large post-it notes
• Spare pens
• Running sheet
• Notes for session facilitators
• iPhone charger
• Charged camera and connectors
• Wifi (access or tether)

 

This isn’t to say that each and every BarCamp needs these things. Some may have more things they require, some may have less. This is just a review of what RE BarCamp Perth is including in their On-the-Day checklist.
