Volunteer Roles
There’s a role to suit every interest and availability. You can commit to a national role, help lead an event in your city, or simply help out on the day.
National Roles
These roles help shape REBarCamp across Australia:
- Chairperson – Leads the association and sets strategic direction.
- Secretary – Keeps everything on track administratively.
- Treasurer – Manages the finances and compliance.
- Membership Officer – Grows and supports our member base.
- Communications Officer – Oversees email and social media communications.
- Brand and Marketing Manager – Ensures everything looks and sounds like REBC.
- Technology Coordinator – Keeps our tools and platforms humming.
- National Event Coordinator – Supports each local team and helps launch new events.
Local Event Roles
Help run a REBarCamp in your city:
- Event Coordinator – Leads the planning of the local event.
- Catering & venue coordinator – Secures and manages the event space.
- Sponsorship Coordinator – Works with sponsors to support the event.
- Marketing & Comms Coordinator – Promotes the event and spreads the word.
- Participant Hosts – Greets and guides attendees on the day.
- Whiteboard Facilitator – Helps shape the day’s conversations live.
